Cancelled Item When I change Delivery Date by One Day?

Terrible service. I ordered a Halloween basket for delivery Oct 25. Went into my account to change delivery date to Oct 26. Result - basket was deleted from the order. I called customer service to ask WTF? Their reply acknowledged I did not accidentally delete it but that the item was no longer available. Huh? Nothing changed but the delivery date. I guess they never had the item to ship, whether delivery was Oct 25 or 26, yet the order was taken and confirmed. The item was being donated to a handicapped kids charity auction so when the order confirmed, the charity had advertised it as an auction item, meaning we all relied on Wine Country representation that the basket would ship. Solution WC offered - order another basket and receive free shipping again. This was my first order to test if we should switch our corporate account to WC snd I guess that question was answered - no way.
