Product great-delivery not so much

The product was great. The recipient thoroughly enjoyed the basket and we would certainly use them again. However, for this particular order, our delivery was delayed four days. We sent a basket as a get well gift for a friend who had surgery the previous day. We paid extra for the next day delivery hoping it would lift her spirits the day after surgery. Well, UPS claims they tried to deliver the package which did not happen and then rescheduled from the original Friday delivery to Monday of which they didnt deliver until Tuesday. Pretty much lost the effect at that point. Wine Country did refund the additional fees for expedited delivery which we appreciated but would have rather had the basket delivered on time. We've used Wine Country Gift Baskets in the past and will use them again, as overall, we've been very pleased with their service. Our hope is that this was a one time occurrence.
