One of the easiest ways to dress up your home is to simply add flowers. Whether they're in a vase, in a pot, or hanging from the ceiling; real, store-bought, or folded from paper, there's something special and unique about flowers that warm up a home.
But, with fall in full swing, we know that the world is going completely pumpkin right now. So, why not add these fun little fruits (yep, they're fruits!) to your flower arrangements?

Here are our top 5 picks on how to do it, and they're easy! (As a plus, you can use fake pumpkins for most of these, too!)

1. In the vase: These small "pumpkin-ettes" can be found at your local grocery store if you'd like them fresh, but if you prefer fake, the local craft store should be your destination. Simply stack them in a tall, clear vase, making sure you leave room for the stems of your flowers, and cover with water. Arrange your flowers like a pro and you have a gorgeous fall bouquet!

2. As the vase: This will take your pumpkin-carving skills to the next level. You need a large pumpkin that is fairly proportionate and stands level, and a clean, large tin can. Using a sharp knife, carve a hole into the very top of the pumpkin about the size of your tin can. Once you've cleaned the 'guts' out of the pumpkin, slip the tin can in it and make sure it's completely hidden within the sides of the pumpkin. Voila! Arrange your flowers in the tin can, fill with water, and enjoy!

BONUS: If you saved the top of the pumpkin, glue a wooden dowel to the bottom of it (previously what was on the inside of the pumpkin) and you can add the pumpkin top to your flower arrangement too!

3. As candlelit vases: Take a handheld drill, multiple drill bits in different sizes, a few tealight candles, some floral foam, and a few medium-sized pumpkins, and you're well on your way to having some gorgeous, personality-packed pumpkins.
 - After you've cleanly removed the top of your pumpkin and scooped the 'guts' out, remove about a 3" circular section from the very bottom of the pumpkin, too. (This will be where the candle sits, and gives you better access to the candle.) Use the drill to create patterns and designs along the sides of your pumpkins, changing the size of your drill bit to add extra texture and variation.
- Next, cut a piece of damp floral foam so that it tightly wedges into the top of the pumpkin, making sure it doesn't extend too deeply into the pumpkin. Then, arrange your flowers by poking the stems into the foam. The last step is to add a battery-operated tealight candle into the bottom of the pumpkin. Turn the candle on, and enjoy!

4. On a stick: This one is easy! Pick up some small pumpkins and some wooden dowels, then arrange your flowers into a vase like you usually would. Using a small, sharp knife, carefully carve out a 1/2"-deep hole in the bottom of a small pumpkin, about the size of your dowel's diameter. (If you cut it too large, you can wrap masking tape around the end of your dowel until it reaches the right size.) Place the end of the dowel into the pumpkin, repeat with your other small pumpkins, and add to your flower arrangments!

5. Macrame Pumpkin Pots: Macrame is big right now, and it's fun to create macrame plant hangers. You can find instructions for how to do macrame everywhere online, but we really like this tutorial in particular. The goal here is to take a medium-large pumpkin, hollow it out, and place a vining houseplant inside. Then, following the macrame planter instructions, create a macrame hanger for the pumpkin instead of a pot. You can repeat this with gourds, smaller pumpkins, and larger pumpkins to create an arrangement of hanging pumpkin planters in your home!
