Ingredients:
2 packages frozen Italian-style meatballs (about 23 meatballs) 3 C. Red wine
½ C. Tomato paste
2 tsp. Corn starch 2 C. Beef stock
1 tsp. Granulated sugar
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
1) Place frozen meatballs in a large pot.
2) In a medium bowl, whisk the tomato paste and wine until smooth. Add to pot and bring to a rolling boil. Continue boiling 5 minutes, until liquid thickens slightly, stirring constantly. 3) Whisk in the corn starch, avoiding the meatballs. Add broth and sugar, reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until it thickens, about 15 minutes, stirring frequently with a spoon. 4) Season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve with your favorite mashed potato recipe.
